Find your place.
Without losing yourself.
Antoine gets his first taste of restaurant work at McDonald’s in the Carrousel du Louvre. He goes on to train at the Institut Paul Bocuse and work in kitchens where he learns a great deal. Over time, though, the pace and working conditions take their toll.
A job offer takes him to Norway. He is trusted and given responsibility. He can save money and begin to imagine a place of his own. Yet for several years, he keeps thinking about returning to France.
We meet him at Rondo in Sandvika, near Oslo. With Lucie and Alban, he looks back on leaving and returning, meeting Jorunn, and what he wants for the years ahead.
Moving away doesn’t solve everything.
