Portrait of Anne-Sophie Drouet

Building a business and exploring Norway

Episode 17 · 47min 33sec

Anne-Sophie, who created Une Blonde en Norvège, returns for the second part of her story. Starting as an editor, she learned to film, worked on live broadcasts and became a local news director in Norwegian, despite initially having very limited language skills. She recalls her years at NRK and her work as a fixer for French productions: helicopters, location scouting and filming in the Lofoten Islands and at the North Cape. She also explains the move towards more stable activities: online Norwegian lessons, tailor-made trips and her course on running a business in Norway, covering registration, accounts, contracts, VAT and tracking income.
