In this conversation

Years later, a relationship takes her to Bodø in northern Norway. When it ends, Anaïs returns to Ireland for a while. But she soon realises something: Norway was no longer just about a person. She had fallen in love with the country.

She returns to Bodø on her own and begins to build a new life there.

When we record this conversation, Anaïs lives near Oslo with her family and works with children at a Norwegian school. Together, we explore what settling in really means: learning the language, understanding unfamiliar social codes, rethinking what feels normal, and sometimes setting aside habits we brought with us.
