Who are we?
Sous les Aurores is a personal project run by Alban Marchadier and Lucie Martlé from Oslo, Norway.

When you write to us
The form asks for your first name or name, email address and message. The reason for your enquiry is optional. We use this information to read your enquiry and reply. Your email address is needed for us to respond; the form cannot be submitted without the required fields. You can also email us directly. These exchanges do not subscribe you to a newsletter.
We use this information on the basis of our legitimate interest in receiving and following up enquiries addressed to Sous les Aurores. Where your enquiry concerns preparing a contractual collaboration, the necessary information is used to take the pre-contractual steps you request.
Alban Marchadier and Lucie Martlé are joint controllers of this information for exchanges relating to Sous les Aurores. You can exercise your rights with either of us by writing to our contact email address.
How long do we keep your messages?
How long we retain information depends on your enquiry. We keep what is necessary to reply and follow up the exchange. Guest suggestions or collaboration proposals may be retained while they are being followed up or relate to an identified project. When personal information is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised.
If information must be retained to comply with a legal obligation or defend legal rights, only what is necessary is kept, for as long as that need justifies.
The newsletter
You sign up on a separate Ausha page. You choose to subscribe and consent to receiving the newsletter. Ausha provides the technical management of subscriptions and email delivery. You can unsubscribe using the link in the emails. For more information: Ausha’s privacy policy.
Technical services
The website is hosted by OVHcloud and uses WordPress and WPForms for its contact form. Messages submitted through the form are sent to contact@souslesaurores.com, our email inbox hosted by OVHcloud. Newsletter subscriptions are managed separately by Ausha.
Buttons linking to YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts and social networks open those services. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.
Your questions and your rights
You can write to us to request access to your data, its correction or deletion, or to ask how it is used. Subject to the conditions in the applicable rules, you also have rights to restriction, objection and portability. You can lodge a complaint with the Norwegian data protection authority, Datatilsynet.
We respond to requests about your rights without undue delay, normally within one month. If the complexity or number of requests requires an extension permitted by the applicable rules, we will let you know within that first month.
Where you watch and listen
Episodes are accessible through links to the publishing platforms. Episode pages do not load an embedded YouTube player. Newsletter sign-up also opens on Ausha in a new tab.
OVHcloud publishes its data processing commitments, list of sub-processors and the safeguards applying to transfers in its contractual documents. The provider’s contact details and general information are available on the OVHcloud website.
Cookies and language choice
We do not use advertising tracking tools on the website’s pages. Episodes open on the publishing platforms, whose own privacy policies apply when you visit them.
Your choice of French or English is part of the page address. We do not store your language preference in a cookie or automatically choose a language based on your browser.
Technical cookies are used to sign in to the WordPress administration area. Signing in is reserved for the people who administer the site; it is not needed to visit the public pages.
